Hi, I’m Danae Brooker, founder of TerraPawz. It started with my pup, Luna. When she was diagnosed with diabetes, I realized that a lot of treats marketed as “healthy” were still packed with fillers and junk, built for flavor and shelf life, not daily wellness.
I set out to create treats you can feel good about using every day, with functional ingredients and real purpose behind every recipe. To do that, I partnered with my sister-in-law Sharon Fornes, RVT, VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia), who brings decades of hands-on experience in veterinary care and training, plus a pet food scientist to help dial in the formulation.

We also tested our recipes with senior rescues at Frosted Faces Foundation to make sure they’re not just thoughtful on paper, but truly crave-worthy in real life.
